Pros: Work-life balance is really good.

Cons: The quality of projects varies from location to location.

Pros: Stable, reliable company. Respectful of worker rights.

Cons: Slow, static, huge company. Sometimes too much bureaucracy.

Pros: Work with very nice, talented people. First and second line managers generally care about you. Good work-life balance.

Cons: Upper management is terrible. They don't care about you. Benefits are mediocre at best. Healthcare and dental aren't very good. 401k match used to be good, but was recently gutted to a "retirement benefit plan" invested in treasuries. Effectively costing younger workers hundreds of thousands of dollars in their future retirement accounts. Upper management doesn't care about employee concerns and ignores/gaslights us. Seemingly every year, upper management finds another corner to cut, always negatively impacting the average employee. IBM sites continue to get worse and worse from lack of basic maintenance.
