Pros: In the first years, the atmosphere was great. There were a lot of great minds from all over the world you could work with. The company had such a tremendous impact on IT history; it was a great honor to work there. Some of the projects were very interesting to work with.
Cons: Gradually, more and more privileges for the employees were removed. What was once a prestigious place to work, became a sad, low-paid environment full of frustrated engineers. And all of this happened while the company had record earnings.

Pros: Good benefits, a great team environment, good managers who encourage career growth, and great networking.
Cons: Definitely underpaid. Wish there was more for years of service milestones. Not the IBM it used to be.
