Profile Managers get in the way

Pros: It depends on your manager. I worked with different managers.
Clients give less headache than IBM itself.
Cons: Profile managers are a nuisance; you have to satisfy their egos to get promoted. So most have a superiority complex. They make you feel inferior for asking for a pay hike. You will be put into higher band roles. Like I am working band 8 where I am only getting paid band 6.
