The best part is definitely the people. We have somehow succeeded very well there; I've met only one person that didn't treat colleagues well (she is not working here anymore). The recruitment process (for me) was casual and didn't have any impossible Google-like puzzles to solve (you get only one type of people with that kind of recruiting, not good for diversity).
The salary is good and stable (smaller consulting companies with commission-based pay may have better salary if you work on a project full-time). The work is interesting, and it is possible to change job descriptions if you wish. Career progression is encouraged and guided. Learning is encouraged (some even mandatory, like one certification per year - no cost to the employee, of course). There are some after-hours clubs for sports, games, theater, etc.
If people were the best thing, then layoffs or corporate negotiations are the worst. There have been two since I started, but it seems we are on the right track again and hopefully no more will come for a long time.
Processes can be a bit stiff, but I don't have to deal much with them in my job (depends on the job role of course).
The local IT support department was closed in favor of a global one. Bring back local support. It's much easier to show the problem to a local expert versus trying to explain a complicated issue to a remote person when neither of us speak English natively.
3 Round - Technical/Aptitude, Interview, HR Technical/Aptitude round has mathematical series questions. Interview round checks your programming understanding. HR round discusses basic job-related queries. Just be confident and revise your basics.
Depends on the tool. The interview process consists of a first technical round and an HR round. It's a straightforward process. Overall, the interview process was good and helpful for me, as it was the first interview I faced after many years.
I gave a telephonic technical interview. The technical round was tough. I need to prepare thoroughly on basics. The managerial round was face-to-face with a senior manager. He asked many scenario-wise questions and explained the answers very well.
