I worked on 3 projects at IBM. In the first 3 projects, work-life balance was good. However, in my 3rd project, there was a lot of management pressure.
Mainly, I see two cons.
The first is the leave policy, and the second is promotions.
Leave Policy: As per IBM, there are 22 leaves per year, and 12 will be carried forward. But there is a stupid policy in IBM called "utilization." Because of this, we cannot take those 22 leaves. Instead, we can only take 15 leaves.
Promotion: I "ate" the promotion process in IBM. Management will say that we need to be in a band for a minimum of two years. But I've been in the same band for more than three years and still haven't gotten a promotion. If you are a fresher, please don't even think about IBM.
The campus hire interview process is good and easy. There are 3 rounds of interviews. * The first round is an online assessment with a time limit, featuring 20 aptitude questions from all major aptitude topics. * The second round is psychometric
We had an aptitude test, then a group discussion, followed by a technical round, and finally the HR round. Interviews were very cooperative and friendly. They accepted answers without any rejection or dissatisfaction. Overall, it was a good experien
Since I was interviewed as a fresher, it was very HR-focused. They asked about my projects, willingness to relocate, and other basics. They were just checking my communication skills, as it was for the business sector.
