Pros

Depending on your role, you will find nice and competent people to work with, but you have to look for them and navigate the organization.

There is always something interesting to work on, but you have to know where to look for these types of projects or initiatives. Nobody will tell you what to do or where to look; you have to have an entrepreneurial spirit to navigate this organization.

Cons

There is a disconnection between the strategy and the messages of top management and the reality of the job on a daily basis. All the focus is on complying with quarterly sales targets and nothing else, creating a very transactional mentality.

It is a very bureaucratic company. They are trying to simplify internal processes (especially those related to customer relationship and management), but there is a long, long way to go.

There are a lot of managers in executive positions who suffer the "me, me, me syndrome". They don't listen and think that their only right way is their way, even if they are wrong (which is the case most of the times). This creates a lot of tensions in a matrix organization where collaboration among the different business units (consulting services, technology services, software, research, sales & business development, etc.) is crucial for success. Unfortunately, the business model of the company does not encourage that collaboration to happen.
