Good salary, great benefits, work from home, and opportunities to travel. Great people to work with, and very smart ones at that!
You have to worry every quarter if you are next to be RA'ed (resource action, another acronym for "laid off"). Poor performance quarter after quarter. Too many silos and nothing gets done in a timely manner. Very "old" school company and stuck on "old" processes and procedures. Too much politics and upper management. Very little or no advancement for pursuing other career opportunities. If you want job security, it doesn't exist at IBM.
Look at the talent you have in this company!
Get rid of all the layers of management.
There are managers in this company that have no experience, do not know how to deal with people, and worse off, have no idea how to run a business.
