Not sure about Big Blue anymore
Despite attrition in recent years, the company still has very deep technical staff. One of the greatest assets the company has is its people. It's amazing the work that can be done if you know how to navigate the organization. Once you master this skill, the sky is the limit.
On the hardware side, it's not clear what the vision is for the company. As software and services are the financial engines for the company, I think we've lost sight of how hardware fits into the equation. Also, when the chips are down, there are some really bright people who have come up with unbelievable tactical ideas that have helped us. Let's leverage those people more on an everyday basis.
Please let the internal team know the strategy with hardware.
