Pros
  • Good work/life balance (of course depending on your organization and role) - Good people - Good vacation
Cons
  • Pay is below competitors.
  • Benefits are no longer competitive: there is no longer any 401k match, health care costs for a family of 5 end up being around $12,000-$14,000 per year out of pocket, and there are no other significant benefits.
  • Management told to rate people arbitrarily as low performers based on how many people need to be fired.
  • Constant fear of resource actions, performance improvement plans, changes to benefits, increased workloads, and random major changes to process without input from stakeholders.
  • Everything is pushing towards decreased productivity and market competitiveness.
  • Senior leadership is not good and has been frequently violating our own business conduct guidelines in recent all-hands meetings.
Advice to Management

Senior management needs to all be replaced.
