I work in a close-knit group which keeps close contact with our customer base. I have been able to implement several significant changes to the operating system and support code. The management team is excellent. It's a great learning ground for future advancements (multiple former teammates are now at the Director and VP level in the company).

Until recently, the number and size of employee cuts have been troubling. Ten years ago, we had a 20% cut in our staff. I am disappointed with the significant reduction in in-person learning opportunities.

I enjoy the 30-minute talks Arvind has monthly. Great communication.

I am a little disturbed that I hear more about Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. in the press than IBM. At times, we seem to be behind in our thinking and execution.
