Ideas, But Impact Unclear
You get freedom to pursue your own ideas to a certain degree, and there are so many people you can work with who are top of their game.
So big, you can't really tell what the result of your actions were. Even if you talk to a customer, it's hard to know whether they'll really use your software and why they want to use it, as they're at a similarly large company to yourself.
Just carry on as you are. No one ever got fired for buying IBM, after all. But it would be nice if technology was what the company was about, rather than money.
