IBM has plenty of great, talented people with lots of interesting projects. They have a number of initiatives to push innovation and lots of ways to get involved and stretch yourself.
IBM is huge. It's easy to get lost and feel that your work and your product doesn't matter. Most of the company works in a self-serve mode, so to get things done, from HR queries to getting access to VMs, you need to be able to search and network with other employees. Keep a resume handy. IBM is constantly reinventing itself, and layoffs happen every 2-3 years.
Employees spend a large amount of time doing tasks that aren't related to their primary jobs. Reducing this or making it more efficient would result in large productivity gains.
It was easy, compared to other tech company interviews. There were no algorithms or stuff like that, only general questions about web development or data science. You should be fine if you know terms from the field; it's nothing otherworldly.
It as simple. Pretty basic questions were asked. Areas of questions: 1. Operating System 2. Data Structures 3. Networking Interview process was similar to the one followed by most companies. Keep it simple. Don't bluff.
Good and well-planned, and communicated well. The process is good. Total of 3 rounds of interviews. Two technical rounds and one HR round. The interview started with 'about ourselves' and relevant experience in Python.
