• Really smart people and great learning opportunities.
• Easy to work remotely.
• Office in Southbank is in a cool location.
• Stable.
• Using more up-to-date [technology/tools/methods].
• Tolerant and inclusive environment.

• Underpaid compared to the market.
• Corporate hierarchical management structure makes the company slower and less attractive to fresh talent.
• Still feels like old-style corporate (although a lot of work is being done to refresh).
• Some teams are less fortunate than others (have access to better perks, more autonomy, etc.).

IBM is a huge company, and I can see major strides being made to bring the company into 2019.

The management has to do a lot of work to retain its top talent.

I think compensation alone is not enough, and the change will have to happen in their mentality before it happens physically.
