Good place for work/life balance. You have the flexibility to work remotely or from home. Big company with many areas of opportunities to work in. The company rewards you for innovating and coming up with ideas that generate patents. The people are generally competent and easy to work with.
Large company with plenty of red tape.
Sometimes, it can be very political.
Working across groups and components can be challenging.
There can be a lot of negotiating between groups on how to split revenue, and this can hamper or completely halt a project.
Different groups internally may have similar products that compete with each other.
Reward the employees who are doing the right things.
