Great start for college grads.
Good access to some interesting projects.
Lots of self-learning tutorials.
Big company that keeps transforming.
Far from the city. Not everyone gets recognized. Sometimes management can be old-styled. Not always getting a chance to work with new technology; very few projects have new technology.
Offer interesting things to be able to attract young developers.
Check what the rest of the companies offer, and make sure the employees are well paid and happy.
Describe yourself.
3 rounds: First was a written round with two coding questions sent over email. Second round was a virtual interview. It was technical, mostly C++ questions. Third round was managerial and behavioral with the Manager.
It was a nice interview session. I interviewed for the IBM z/VM systems team, working for their virtualization team. Most of the questions were behavioral. Some questions covered background and projects, and also the Linux kernel.
