Some important policies really suck (IBM-GTS)
It offers a flexible and friendly work environment.
If you get promoted, your band elevation and the salary hike would be applicable only at the beginning of the new quarter.
For example, if you are promoted on July 1st, then you would get the benefit starting October 1st onwards.
Also, if you are eligible for a performance-based salary hike and get promoted at that time, you would receive only one salary hike, i.e., on your promotion. You would not get the performance-based hike.
I have been working here for the past 6 years. I am planning for a change in the near future.
