Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Austin, Texas
Process
Phone screen then onsite. The onsite interview goes from 9 AM to 5 PM. Whiteboard questions are pretty basic (no hard code algorithm question, just know your basic DS). Design question normal for industry. Programming exercise is pretty long but again is not hard. The interviewers are very nice and they try to give you hints if you get stuck. They come in pairs so you will end up meeting about 12-13 people by the end of the day. Advise: - Ask if you can bring your own laptop for the programming exercise. If not, you will end up using some crappy laptop and you will lose precious time. - Make sure you get a good night's sleep. It is a long, long day.
