There was a phone interview that went well, followed by two Skype interviews with two guys in California.
During the Skype interview, an assessment was given to test skills in replying to emails, complaints, etc. I was moved on to the next step, an in-person interview.
Here's the problem: the guy who interviewed me stated that he and his wife had an argument and that he was having a bad day. I tried my best to swing the conversation, but he was not budging. After some time of his dryness and standoffishness, I could tell the interview went south.
I had to follow up with the recruiter to check the status, which of course led to them declining to give me the offer. The in-person interview was absolutely horrible!
