I applied online and was accepted for a phone interview. Following that, I was accepted for a one-on-one interview. They flew me out to their location for three days, paying for my airline ticket, rental car, and hotel. They also provided me with a credit card for incidentals.
The people were remarkably casual; I almost felt out of place in my suit. One of my interviewers had an earring and was wearing a t-shirt. There was nothing wrong with it, but I thought it was unusual.
The interview was simple and mostly consisted of "What would you do if..." safety questions. There were only a few technical questions that, if you have spent any time with the equipment, were very easy.
