Average pay, but asking high skills and involvement. The middle managers are covering the truth always in order to get to the next bonus.
If you pay in the 75% range of the market, expect performance in the 75%. The culture and values are applied selectively by the middle management.

More of a conversation than a technical interview. They asked simple questions to see if you had basic knowledge. The manager was not very engaged or knowledgeable. Very easy process, but very long. No sense of urgency.
