Process

I received a call from HR on a Thursday and was asked to come for a face-to-face interview on Saturday at 9:30 AM. I reached the venue on time, and HR received me in a meeting room.

After some time, one of the interviewers came and started the discussion by asking about my projects and architecture. He then asked me to implement a memcpy function, assuming the function was not available. This was followed by adding test cases for the function and implementing it with a space constraint.

The discussion lasted for about 1.5 hours. Later, he asked me to reverse the words within a string, which I was unable to solve in time.

I waited for about 20 minutes in the room. HR then came and informed me that the feedback was negative and I could leave for the day. Although the position was for Win32, there were no questions asked about it.

Questions

Implement our own memcpy function with space constraint.
