Pros: Good compensation and facilities, and growth opportunities.

Cons: No planning, no work-life balance, tight budget constraints. Not all projects were given the same level of recognition or importance, and a few teams were left to struggle on their own.

Pros: The benefits are great: 401k, health, bonus, and holiday parties. The campus is nice. It's a "named company."

Cons: The company changes tack every 6 months, with 4 years of layoffs and selling off divisions. There are lots of meetings, lots of red tape, and not a lot of coding. Most development is put into "how to sell / monetize," with less time and resources targeted for features or new products. The company has a repeated cycle: * Acquiring an innovative company. * Struggled attempts to cross-sell / up-sell the new product with its current product lines. * Struggled attempts to integrate the new product into the existing Intuit systems (data centers, CRM, etc). * Selling said acquisition at a fraction of the original purchase price (see Medfusion, Homestead, Demandforce, etc). For technical (non-QA) talent, it is very hard to move to different divisions in the company.

Pros: Flexibility keeps you busy with learning.

Cons: Political Environment Requires Intervention from Conscious Leaders
