I was scheduled for a 1-hour phone screen. The individuals who called were pleasant and asked solid, basic Java questions.
I was then called for an onsite interview. I was given a craft demo project, which I spent a lot of time working on. I was also asked to present a portfolio of my work, for which I spent quite a bit of time preparing.
However, the interviewers did not spend much time asking me questions about it, as they didn't have enough time. When they did ask a few questions, they seemed to rush through them. It appeared they had prepared to hear specific answers, and when I offered different opinions, they moved on.
They informed me they would review the code I submitted the previous day (24 hours prior to the interview) and get back to me.
I felt I was not given enough time.
