Pros

Good health benefits and okay compensation.

Cons

Power of politics.

Managers are not able to identify who is really doing good work and who is talking a lot and throwing up ideas because they do not check at the ground level, as they are technically incapable. They believe in talks, not in work. It is full of favoritism, partiality, and politics.

Managers are neither technical nor good at people management, mainly those managers who have been here for a long time. They are completely outdated and show their power to new people and rag them. This is because they think nothing can happen to them even if engineers or developers complain about them. And this is true; developers get impacted if they raise their voice or speak about the truth. Managers are always safe.

Advice to Management

Everything is the manager's hand. That has to be changed. One person's career growth should not be decided by a manager's perception.

Managers are not looking at ground level. They just believe talk, not actual work.

That way, good people will leave the company, and bad people will stay here. Skip-level meetings should happen. Follow Google's culture.
