Got the call from an agency asking for 5-6+ years of experience.
First, I was asked to go for a written test (irrespective of experience), which mainly focused on the area I specialized in.
The written test was a bit tricky. Each question had 5 multiple choices, where up to 3 could be correct answers. It also had negative marking.
Then, a face-to-face round. Part of it seemed HR and partly seemed technical.
In the end, they were saying, "It seems you are overqualified for the position." This was despite me having 6 years of experience, as they asked for. Then I asked, "But I was told that the position is for 6 years of experience people only. What has changed in the four days?"
They said, "No, it is not that you are not qualified, but we are not sure if the position requires this much experience."
Everything is very simple in the interview. It is restricted to very much the basics.
