It's really disappointing that such a big company conducts the interview process like this.
It was a diversity drive, and they named it WOW (Wider Opportunity for Women).
There were 3 rounds: a coding test and 2 face-to-face interviews.
Since the first round was a coding test, I assumed this was for a development position, and I am pretty much into Java development.
I finished all the rounds quite well and expected a positive result.
At the end of the 3rd round, they said that I was not apt for the position 😳.
It was very clear that they were not conducting these drives seriously.
I wasted my complete day for nothing. The least they could do is explain why I was not apt, especially since my profile and the JD matched.
If I was not apt, they should have known at the initial rounds, not after the final round.
Sorry for the long review, but I just wanted to get this off my head.
I have also heard similar experiences with this company from my friends.
Really disappointing. If this reaches the concerned person, I hope they take the required action. I still respect the organization, but please train your staff to adhere to your values and rules.
