Process

The interviewer was 5 minutes late, and it felt like that was a regular occurrence. She read my resume in front of me, meaning she was not prepared.

I felt a bit of hubris from the recruiter, suggesting that the company is awesome. It felt off-putting.

There were very late responses regarding what was happening between the recruitment steps.

I will never apply to King again.

Pros: Great workplace. Lovely inspiring atmosphere, with so many crafts involved with producing and running successful games. King treats people very well and does a good job at offering exciting compensation and benefits as well as fun social activities in and around the office. We have monthly QAs with leadership where you are able to get answers to your questions as well as give feedback.

Cons: Not a lot of cons. Like many other companies these days, King is trying to find the right model for remote and onsite work, currently having a team-first hybrid model. This works fine for me personally, but I would perhaps have liked to see a bit more proactivity and clarity in this area.
