I was contacted by a senior talent acquisition partner at King who claimed that although he usually only deals with applications, my profile seemed very interesting to him.
I agreed to an initial chat. He then cancelled on short notice due to another meeting. No problem; we rescheduled and had the chat. It was positive, and I was invited to the next stage. All seemed fine.
Then, I had a meeting with a producer. After that, I heard nothing back, neither from the recruiter nor the producer or anyone else. However, King sent out an unexpected survey about the "past" interview process more than a month later. I assume I did not advance to the next stage.
This was a very unprofessional procedure, especially from a company like King. Shame.
