Pros: The people are generally nice and there is a culture of exchanging experience between offices, which means there are a lot of possibilities to travel and meet other people. There is a generous budget for activities.

Cons: The culture is becoming more corporate with extra layers of hierarchy appearing. The same applies to benefits.

Pros: Good and funny people to work with. Beautiful offices. Good work/life balance. A stable company that is still making a lot of money.

Cons: Boring and outdated technology. Lack of growth and opportunities. Lack of leadership that is getting worse.

Pros: Gym, location, and free nuts and candy. Unfettered access to whatever match 3 game you are working on.

Cons: I arrived at King with 16 years of experience but got treated like a junior. Overruled and belittled by a team that saw my criticism of how we run things as a reason to take me down, and not as a desire to improve things. The company operates like a weak facsimile of a FAMGA company, where I now work. It was horrible to observe the insidious culture of bullying and embarrassing to see the managers playing politics against each other. One of their values is ‘fun and friendly’. That simply isn’t true. And the pedantic interpretation of agile is absolutely insane.
