I applied for a more senior position one weekend. The following Monday, a recruiter asked if I'd be available for an interview.

During the conversation, we could both tell I wasn't qualified for the senior position. Rather than ending the interview early, the recruiter looked at other open roles that might fit, and we found one.

Then I had an interview with the team manager. He was very prepared and gave me a clear outline of how the interview would be held. The questions were standardized for the role but well thought out.

The same day, my recruiter invited me to schedule a technical interview as the next round. After scheduling it, the email advised exactly what to expect and how to prepare.

During the technical interview, the team members were also well prepared, and the technology ran smoothly.

I did not get moved to the final round but was very satisfied with the interview experience.
