Pros: Good pay, and it used to have a good culture.

Cons: Very bad culture now. It has died over the last four years, and I'm not being particularly dramatic or anything. Most employees will tell you the same thing.

Pros: - Great peers. - Awesome work; you can set directions for a lot of technical initiatives regardless of the level you are at. - Work on open source, especially in the System Infra group where many Apache projects have evolved. - Great food. - Stock with good upside potential (at least I believe so). - Company cares about employees (many amenities and perks, free classes, and employee-focused events). - Monthly InDays (one was themed around parents in 2015 - BIYP, my mom really loved it). - Good compensation and work-life balance. - Two yearly shutdowns (rather than one at the year-end at most places) and unlimited vacations.

Cons: - None at the moment. - You might grow a bit faster at a startup, but then it's a personal choice.

Pros: Great perks: * The food is likely some of the best around. * Get $2000 a year allowance for physical activities like a gym membership. They will also not be afraid to hand you exciting projects if you're a newbie.

Cons: A bit of middle-level mismanagement. Beginning to care too much about monetization and costs.
