Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

Phone screen. Received an invitation for a phone screen.

There were two phone screens using Coderpad.io.

The first phone screen had two questions. There wasn't enough time, but the code compiled.

The second phone screen was with a director and required a lot of coding to complete. The questions were not suitable for a phone screen.

It seemed like the interviewers themselves lacked practical coding experience. It takes time to write compilable code, more time than pseudocode, and get it working.

Expecting compilable code within a short time is ridiculous.

One word: avoid. It's better to spend your time elsewhere, like HackerRank, which is a fair system of evaluation.
