Interviewed at Mathworks EDG as a PhD graduate.
The first phone screen was a conversation with the manager.
Then I was moved to the virtual onsite, which had three rounds:
- One technical round with basic data science questions
- One behavioral round with the manager
- One HR round
No technical preparation was required.
Ultimately, I declined the offer as I was not happy with the compensation.

Pros: The freedom to work on projects with various teams of interest. Also, the positive company culture with the right work-life balance is a big plus. If you are open to learn, explore, and perform, then this role is a great fit.
Cons: Not everyone might like technical support. You are helping customers solve problems, and it can get loaded at times, but in the long run, it brings out a great experience.
