Process

There were two telephonic rounds:

  • One coding round (45 minutes)
  • One SQL round (45 minutes)

A 15-minute break was scheduled between the rounds.

You will be asked to code. Interviews typically start with basic introductions, and you will be asked to code in your preferred language (Python is preferred). SQL questions are MySQL-based.

Expect regular questions, but answers should be provided in the most optimized way. They would expect simple questions to be answered in a particular way.

Questions

  1. Given a number and an array. Python code to find if the sum of any two numbers in a list equals a given number.

  2. SQL question, mostly on CASE WHEN and JOINs. Example: Q3: Delete all duplicates from a table in one query.

  3. Mostly, the interviewer was cornering me by asking not to use regular ways. So, he was expecting the answers in a particular way. For example, couldn't use JOINs or subqueries, which made very simple questions tough.
