I had a few phone conversations with the recruiter, which were not very professional. They also took a long time to get back to me every time we exchanged email.
The hiring manager and the pre-screen interviewer seemed very excited based on my qualifications. They asked me to go to Menlo Park for full interviews (6 people + lunch with the recruiter).
Everyone in the morning was very positive. However, one of the interviewers in the afternoon clearly did not like the company I was coming from. They said it was "too bad that so many were coming from these companies and changing Fb culture." I could not believe it.
Other than that, I did not think the interview was particularly complicated, but they had plenty of questions with potential tricks, and I did not do my best on the final couple of interviews. The positive tone changed in the afternoon, and I could tell they were not giving me an offer.
Anyways, I mostly enjoyed the experience.
What to do with people that stay at the same level for too long?
