Phone screen with a Front-End Engineer.
Few minutes for introductions, and then a technical problem. Even in the guise of a front-end related problem, it revolved around data structures and algorithms, which is fair play. Prepare accordingly.
I got a question. I delayed a minute, considering an option for a solution, then implemented another one. I solved it successfully and discussed complexities. I got another problem since we had time. I solved this one on the first attempt. The interviewer said nice things about the solution.
And then I was rejected.
I guess you must be superhuman to pass interviews such as this; one thing which is less than perfect will cost you the whole thing. I guess this is because they ask medium-level questions, but who knows.
