Pros: High salary as a hardware engineer intern; Can learn a lot; Diversity; Many well-being benefits, great cafes and snack bars.
Cons: Hardware (especially in infra) is not dominant at Meta, so promotions are slow. For interns, there is a lower chance of getting return offers.

Very difficult to switch teams

Pros: Working with great people, they really care about the people they hire.
Cons: Recruiting is really bad. I was tossed around by multiple recruiters for the same position. Switching teams is pretty much impossible as you have no upperhand being a current employee.
Company culture is an echo chamber. Be careful holding any opinions that aren't held by the rest of the employees.
