Process
The interview process involved a 4-round screening:
- Behavioral interview
- Design interview
- Systems interview
- Coding interview
Questions were challenging but doable. I did not enjoy my coding interview because my interviewer was very picky. They often asked strange questions without reasonable follow-ups or interrupted with "I don't want you to do it, use this instead" approaches, which really baffled me.
Questions
coding: Check string for being palindrome with some additional constraints. Generate random Minesweeper grid.
systems: Theoretical troubleshooting of a slow server, going into many kernel details.
