I received an email from a recruiter asking some basic questions. Following that, I was sent a 10-question quiz, which was quite easy.
Then, I had two interviews: one for coding and one for PE basics.
The coding interview was fine; it involved an average LeetCode medium-style question. The PE basics interview was not what I was expecting at all. The two interviewers immediately seemed annoyed and like they didn't want to be there. I was asked system design questions, which I had anticipated would be in the next round had I made it through.
At the end of the interview, I asked if they experienced any challenges. One of the interviewers scoffed and said, "No, it's Meta; the resources are unlimited."
