I only had a first-round interview with someone who had basically made up their mind before I even entered the video call and was disinterested the entire time.

They then lied in their feedback to the main contact.

I asked the main contact to appeal the decision, given the circumstances, especially since I did solve the programming problem I was given with multiple approaches.

The main contact stated multiple times they were in talks with their team about the situation. However, I had to consistently follow up with them and was given the same excuse that it was being discussed until I just gave up.

I never heard back.
