Process
I applied to Facebook through my university and on their website.
They called me in for two on-campus interviews. Normally, afterward, you would then go on to a day of on-site interviews, but they directly gave me an offer after the on-campus interviews.
They were very nice and very quick to respond.

Structured Team, Intense Culture

Pros: Very structured, with very nice and intelligent people.
Cons: Culture can be a little bit cutthroat, with promo schedules amongst FTEs.

Amazing internship experience
Software Engineer Intern • Former Employee
August 12, 2022
Pros: Interns are treated so well and get benefits for everything (even more than necessary!). Everything was paid (e.g., house, transport), and corporate housing was given.
The environment in the office is great, and the office in Rathbone is the best one by far.
Cons: The team matching is not always accurate. Sometimes it feels like interns are just randomly assigned to teams instead of being carefully placed with the best match.

Facebook internship review
Software Engineer Intern • Former Employee

Pros: Facebook has great people, culture, and benefits for employees. Interns are given the chance to live in corporate housing with excellent conditions. Also, three meals per day and transport to and from work is a really good thing. Working in open spaces is another good thing about FB, since you get to easier communicate and work with people in your team or different teams.
Also, the sweet shop was my favorite place!
Cons: Project allocation was probably not suitable for all of us, since there were more than 1000 interns this summer.
