Process

The interview process included:

  • A phone screen
  • Three days later, the process moved to a virtual onsite.
  • The virtual onsite consisted of three back-to-back interviews.

They offered me the position two weeks later.

The process was very smooth. The recruiters are truly excellent.

Questions

Coding Round 1: You have 45 minutes to solve two coding problems, but do not expect to have all 45 minutes to work on them. The interviewer will introduce themselves and will leave time at the end for questions.

Behavioral Interview: 45 minutes to talk about different qualities and situations.

Advice (How to prepare):

  • Prepare three stories in advance that can be used to handle all kinds of questions they throw at you.
  • Remember to always focus on what you learned.

They ask about a conflict you had with a coworker. No one cares about the specific details. What any employer will care about, though, is what you learned or took away from the experience. How did you grow?

Coding Round 2: Same deal as Coding Round 1. Work fast and explain your thinking. Do not be stupid and go into these coding rounds without practicing on LeetCode. When you are under pressure in an interview, it is challenging to think through an efficient solution in a timely manner. The outcome of these two coding interviews will be almost entirely based on how much you have prepared, and a little bit of luck.
