Process

A recruiter reached out to me. Facebook has some of the best recruiters in the industry.

I went through the first round, which went well on Coderpad. On the same day, I received an email stating they wanted to schedule another Coderpad round.

The second round was scheduled for a week later. The interviewer was Indian (I am not being racist here). He started by saying most negative things about the position, which sounded fishy to me.

Phrases like, "Did you really know what this position is for?" and "I don't think you will be interested in this position," set a negative tone from the start.

He asked me a question that is considered the toughest on LeetCode. I don't want to comment on the specific question he asked, but I am sure he didn't want to hire me.

He also asked me to turn on my video, which they had not informed me about beforehand. This is quite disappointing, as the interviewer should know the standards of the interview and cannot simply do as they please.

Overall, the interviewer was bad.
