The recruiter called and explained the process for 30 minutes. The recruiter was friendly and helpful. They emailed me links to algorithm preparation sites. I assume they expect candidates to go through all the sites and complete all the algorithms before the interview.
Next, they scheduled a telephonic interview. The interviewer was not friendly at all. He started with an introduction and asked why I was interested in Facebook. Then, he presented a coding question. He was not helpful and provided no clues. I could hear keyboard noises, which made me think he gave me the question and then started working on his own tasks. I completed the question in half an hour. He then asked about its complexity.
I am sure I did well because I was able to write the code and explain it through examples. However, the recruiter later informed me that I was not selected and that they could not provide feedback due to company policy. The overall process seems good, but not providing feedback is something I did not expect.
