Process
I had two interviews:
- One on my university campus.
- One on the nearest Facebook campus.
I got back promptly after the second interview. The culture is amazingly open; any intern can look at any piece of code in the company – nothing is secret. Additionally, a lot of trust is put in interns and employees.

Pros: - Autonomy for every engineer is something I haven't seen anywhere.
- Career growth is great as long as you find the right opportunity.
- Refreshers are great as well.
Cons: The only con I would say is the public media issues, but this is something the company is working hard on.

Pros: Culture, culture and more culture. The first thing you will notice as a new employee at Facebook is the multitude of social events, both in office and offsite. There is always something fun to do that helps you engage with coworkers that you may not have come in contact with in your normal workday. I truly enjoy my coworkers and find myself hanging out with them even for non-Facebook events; it's great!
Cons: It is a very fast-paced environment, and it takes time to really find that work-life/personal-life balance.
