A recruiter contacted me via email, and we had a phone chat.
The recruiting team sent the interview confirmation email to my other email ID, which I haven't shared anywhere. As I wondered where they got that email ID from, I realized I had a Facebook dummy account with a different name and that email ID associated with it.
It's creepy how the recruiter had that email address when Facebook assures us that recruiters are not given access to that kind of internal data.
I missed the interview because of this. When I contacted the recruiter, he said they had a different email address in their records, didn't schedule another one, and never responded to my emails.
Overall, in my opinion, they were very unprofessional and creepy.
