Pros: Continues to pay top-of-the-range compensation in the tech industry (despite stock drop and budget cuts).
Bottom-up culture which empowers engineers to drive more conversations and choose what they want to work on.
Bootcamp process (team selection) is excellent (mainly when there is headcount, less so today during a hiring freeze).
Cons: In general, because of the move-fast culture, there can be more external pressure than at other companies. Budget cuts and a stock drop have reduced compensation.

Pros: Strong culture of passion, learning, openness and transparency, and direct feedback. Everything is designed around empowering engineers to ship things quickly with a lot of autonomy.
Growing everywhere with lots of opportunities for driving projects at whatever level you are able. And the people are wonderful - many of them feel like old friends even though we've worked together only a short time.
Cons: I agree with comments that this is not the place for someone who wants to coast. There's a general feeling that people here believe they're doing some of the most important, best work in their career.

Cons: Work environment, layoffs. Has been getting progressively more about being seen as doing work rather than actually doing work.
