Process
I felt the first interviewer was good, as they cared about the applicant. However, the second-round interviewer cut me off while I was solving the second technical question. This was particularly frustrating because she was the one experiencing technical problems, which ultimately led to me having less time to solve the question.

Pros: Excellent compensation and perks.
Reality Labs - working on cutting-edge technology.
Good opportunities for career progression; managers are supportive.
Projects are self-driven so can be shaped to one's interests.
Cons: Culture can vary widely between teams. The UK offices are smaller and there is more room for camaraderie, but this is not so in the US.
Sometimes slowed or constrained by Meta-wide policies that are suitable for Facebook/Instagram but not suitable for a research organization.
Poor diversity among software engineering, although generally an inclusive and safe space.
