I completed the phone screen interview with one group member in testing. It was different than I expected.

I anticipated QA-related questions, but all I received were questions more about hardware and how to debug the system based on hardware failure.

Questions

Let's say you run a program for the whole weekend and expect it to finish on Monday. But when you arrive on Monday, it is still running and running slowly.

From what viewpoint would you start debugging?

What if the computer crashes and restarts? How would you inspect the system?
