I had a great team at Meta. Everyone was hard-working, smart, and really played into the team mentality, even if we were spread across the US and primarily all remote.
I still felt super connected with my team, and we did our best to stay connected. We felt welcome.
There are a lot of brilliant people at Meta, but the organization lacked documentation and knowledge transfer. Things also moved very slowly to make changes. However, the good thing is that everyone is willing to work together to achieve a common goal, even if it's cross-functionally.
